About

Our Story

Our journey began with a personal mission, inspired by the founder, Jan Schoeman's brother, who is physically challenged. Growing up, Jan witnessed firsthand, the difficulties his brother encountered in finding meaningful employment. The struggle to secure opportunities for him sparked a realization: the world of work often overlooks the incredible talents of deaf and disabled individuals. This inspired Jan to create a company dedicated to changing that narrative.

At our core, we believe in the power of inclusion and the unique strengths that deaf and disabled individuals bring to the table. We discovered something remarkable — deaf individuals often excel at analyzing video content. Free from auditory distractions, they possess an unparalleled ability to focus on visual details, picking up on subtle cues like body language and tell-tale signs of discomfort that others might miss. This insight became the foundation of our work, harnessing these extraordinary skills to create meaningful opportunities.

We are driven by a fundamental belief: it should be our responsibility as a society to ensure that everyone, regardless of physical challenges, has access to fulfilling work. Our company is committed to building a world where deaf and disabled individuals are not just included but celebrated for their unique contributions. Every day, we strive to create opportunities that empower, uplift, and showcase the incredible potential of those who have been overlooked for too long.

This is our story—a commitment to equity, opportunity, and the belief that everyone deserves a chance to shine.

6. Reporting

A comprehensive reporting engine is included that allows for Incident, Event and data KPI reporting per retail outlet, making it easy to compare the performance of different retail outlets to each other within the group of companies and even includes performance comparisons to other similar retail outlets outside the group.

Incident Examples

Typical Scale Product Verification Incident where Beef Mince is incorrectly weighed as Bones, which results in an immediate loss of more than R1000 to the retailer

Typical Product Verification Incident where the Supervisor Voids both IQF Portions whilst one IQF leaves with the client

Typical Receiving Product Verification Incident.  The 27th crate of Coca Cola is received twice. The receiving PC's screen went off and is fixed by the operator, he then proceeds to scan crate 27 a second time as crate 28, effectively a loss of one crate of 2L Coca Cola cold drinks.
